(2 May 2017) This role is a senior member of the Library Leadership Team and is responsible for an extensive information resources budget, ensuring that expenditure is aligned with current teaching and research needs of the University. The position is responsible for a number of client-centred systems and services such as Reading Lists, Interlibrary Loans and Library Search . In this role you will be responsible for establishing collection development priorities in consultation with Library staff and clients and sourcing resources to meet the needs of the University. The role requires you to lead and role model the provision of high quality collection services and manage the Library’s model for the provision of resources. You will also be required to lead the Collections and Access team and implement service standards. You will assess performance and identify areas of improvement on an ongoing basis. You will also manage and report on Library expenditure on the collection budget and provide and recommendations.
