(16 Dec 2024) The Korea Library Association (KLA), established shortly after Korea’s liberation in 1945, is celebrating its 80th anniversary next year. Kwak Seung-jin, the KLA president, discussed the current state and future vision of libraries in South Korea during a meeting at the National Library of Korea.
He highlighted ongoing challenges such as library censorship and budget cuts.
