(5 Feb 2026) The Khon Kaen University (KKU) Library has been honored as the “Outstanding Academic Library” for the year 2025 by the Thai Library Association under the Royal Patronage of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
The award was announced by the association’s executive committee on February 4, 2026, as part of its annual recognition program to celebrate and promote excellence among libraries nationwide.
Operating under the vision of being a “Learning Center for All,” the Library reaffirmed its commitment to expanding inclusive, innovative, and user-centred services that respond to the evolving needs of diverse user groups. The Library also emphasized its role as a key mechanism in fostering a sustainable learning society through knowledge access, lifelong learning, and academic support.
This national recognition reflects the KKU Library’s sustained dedication to academic excellence, service innovation, and social impact, reinforcing its position as a leading academic library in Thailand.
