(10 August 2015) The JULAC libraries are issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) with the expectation of contracting for a next-generation shared library system that fits closely with JULAC’s stated strategies of deep collaboration and a unified set of services that exceed traditional ILS capabilities. This RFP is intentionally broad in scope and focused on outcomes rather than detailed functional requirements. Respondents are strongly encouraged to respond with functional details and to convey how their service would work in a shared environment to achieve the outcomes described in the RFP.
JULAC has elected the University of Hong Kong (HKU) to raise a tender and administer the tendering process on behalf of member libraries. This RFP is thus, issued via HKU on behalf of JULAC libraries.
Closing date is 31 August 2015.
