(16 Oct 2026) IOP Publishing (IOPP), the publishing arm of the Institute of Physics, and China Science Publishing & Media (CSPM), historically known as Science Press and one of China’s largest science publishing groups, affiliated with the Chinese Academy of Sciences, have announced a strategic partnership to enhance the discoverability and accessibility of high-quality global research content for researchers in China.
Through this collaboration, IOPP will make metadata from its journal portfolio available through SciEngine, CSPM’s digital publishing and knowledge platform. The partnership will make it easier for Chinese researchers to discover IOPP’s peer-reviewed research in physics and related interdisciplinary fields, while strengthening connections between China’s research community and international scholarly content.
