(7 May 2016) IGI Global recently announced several new partnerships with the Convergent Research Society Among Humanities, Sociology, Science and Technology (HSST) and the International Academic Consulting and Services (IACS) of South Korea, and the International Center for Informatics Research (ICIR) in China. Through these partnerships, IGI Global is continually showing their commitment to innovation in information science and technology throughout Asia.
HSST and IACS were founded by the Institute of Convergence Education in South Korea, in order to support distinguished scholars and students who are researching various areas of science and technology. This research collaboration between HSST, IACS and IGI Global will include 20 workshops offered by HSST and IACS throughout South Korea and three international conferences throughout 2016. A mentoring program for graduate students and faculty interested in scholarly publishing in leading information science and technology journals will also be introduced.
IGI Global’s partnership with International Center for Informatics Research (ICIR) of Beijing Jiaotong University in China was instated to support the future of technological development by strengthening the relationship between students, faculty, staff, and cutting-edge global research, especially in the areas of ICIR focus: information management, logistics management, engineering and IT, e-business and enterprise information, cloud computing technology and the Internet of Things (IoT) technology. China stands as a world leader in the growing information science and technology market, and IGI Global continuously seeks to facilitate and support technology education and research initiatives among academia throughout the world.
This research collaboration between ICIR and IGI Global will include 30 seminars offered by ICIR throughout China and four international conferences throughout 2016.
