(26 Aug 2019) The IFLA Global Vision Ideas Store now hosts thousands of ideas shared by librarians from all over the world. It is a dynamic resource for ideas and actions, the result of the contributions of library and information professionals worldwide. It provides a unique source of inspiration for the strategic and daily work of librarians everywhere, and a proof of how libraries, working together, can go further.
The IFLA Ideas Store is the culmination of a global consultation process that IFLA undertook through its Global Vision project. Since 2017, over 30,000 people from 190 UN Member States have shared their opinions about the challenges that libraries face. To date, over 8,500 ideas have been shared.
