(22 June 2015) National Library under Fine Arts Department, Minister of Culture, together with Office of National Library under the royal patronage, hosted The 16th Congress of Southeast Asian Librarians – CONSAL XVI under the topic of “ASEAN Aspirations: Libraries for Sustainable Advancement” to promote the collaboration and strengthen the network of librarian and library personnel in 10 member countries in Southeast Asia. The event, taking place from 10 to 13 June, 2015, consists of academic lectures, presentation of academic articles and a field trip to cultural tourist destinations.
