Web of Science citation index will be available to more than 5,000 experts across Australia and overseas
(5 July 2018, Melbourne) The Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), Australia’s independent federal government agency responsible for scientific research, has selected Web of Science as a key resource for research discovery. CSIRO is Australia’s catalyst for innovation; collaborating with 3,000 customers each year to innovate and create value to the Australian economy. These include Australian federal, state and local government bodies; small, medium and large businesses; Australian universities and more than 150 international partners.
The unique collection of resources in Web of Science will provide CSIRO’s 5,000 staff with the highest quality metrics for research discovery. The index contains more than 150 million records from 33,000 journals and is the world’s most trusted and largest citation index across the sciences, social sciences, arts and humanities.
