(5 Mar 2020) Working closely with the Director, Library Services and senior colleagues from across the university, as Associate Director, Business Excellence, you are responsible for the strategic leadership of a portfolio of behind the scenes services for all CDU locations. This position leads the development and establishment of effective ways of collecting, analysing and utilising data to improve library services, systems and resources to achieve outcomes aligned to the teaching, learning and engagement objectives of the University.
An inspiring and supportive leader, capable of quickly forming effective and cohesive teams empowered and focused on achievement of team goals, you will also be a talented negotiator, displaying advanced communication skills and excellent professional written skills suitable for drafting policies, plans and business cases.
An agent of change, you will be skilled at creating a compelling vision for change and leading your teams from initial concepts through to delivery, normalising and embedding new ways of working.
Completion of a postgraduate qualification with proven expertise in the management of significant human and material resources management in a complex, changing environment will support your application, as will a track record of providing significant contributions to business strategy, high-level business planning, and a commitment to fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
