(5 Sep 2022) The 32nd Library and Information Services Month (LISM) Committee, in partnership with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) [of the Philippines] through the National Committee on Libraries and Information Services (NCLIS), is pleased to announce the Call for Papers in connection with the LISM celebration this November 2022.
Submitted research papers shall undergo the peer-review process and those deemed publishable shall be eligible for the 2022 LISM Best Research Award. We would like to invite all library and information science students and professionals to share the fruits of their researches through publication and oral presentation in a research conference.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
1. All submitted papers must be original contributions and not being considered for any other publication.
2. The abstract and full paper must be in Microsoft Word format (*.doc or *.docx) and submitted to the LISM Committee at
[email protected]. In the subject line, key in LISM Research Submission [Abstract or Full Paper (Category A or B)]. Please ensure all articles are proofread and check for accuracy prior to submission.
3. Authors must follow the Submission Template (
https://tinyurl.com/LISM2022CFP) . Final papers must be written in either English or Filipino, with a maximum of 20 pages (double-spaced, 12-point, Arial font).
4. It is understood that by submitting the research papers, permission has been granted to NLP to publish them on the website and in print. However, authors will retain the copyright over their works.
5. Only upon the acceptance of the full paper and initial review process of the Committee that you will be invited to present your paper during the Research Conference on 17-18 November 2022.
