(25 August 2016) Artstor has announced its new K-12 LibGuides. These guides will help students, faculty, and school librarians get started–or become experts–using the Artstor Digital Library. Find them side by side with the higher education LibGuides at artstor.libguides.com. As with all Artstor guides you are encouraged to reuse them!
The K-12 faculty guide covers everything instructors need to know about using Artstor Teaching Resources, along with presenting and teaching with the Artstor Digital Library, from giving presentations using the tools within the database to sources for information about using primary source materials in the classroom.
The student guide is designed to help secondary school students use Artstor for research, presentations, and test preparation, including using Artstor Mobile. Tutorial videos will help students guide themselves through registering for an account, searching, saving images to an image group, and downloading PowerPoint presentations.
The guide for school librarians includes everything to get started helping students and colleagues use the Artstor Digital Library. This guide also provides in-depth information about metadata, promoting Artstor across departments, and the administration and statistics sites.
