(12 April 2015) Telecom major Advanced Info Service Plc (AIS) has donated two million Baht [USD 66,000] towards the library modernization campaign of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand. CEO of AIS Mr. Somchai Lertsutiwong handed over the cheque to AIT President Prof. Worsak Kanok-Nukulchai in a ceremony organized at the Intouch Towers on 9 April 2015.
The donation by AIS (Intouch Holdings) joins other major corporates who have donated more than one million for the AIT library modernization including Siam Cement Group (10 million), Thai Pipe Industry (2 million), Bangchak Petroleum (2 million) and Amata Corporation (1 million).
