(9 January 2014) Have you got a library cat? The OEDB.org blog reports that there are 300 living resident library cats throughout the world the majority of whom are United States residents. Among them are Baker and Taylor in a Nevada library and Pages in Kansas.
These library cats have job titles and job descriptions of course, such as greeting the public every morning at 9am and attending meetings. Several of them have taken to the blogosphere. And in case you’re wondering salaries are paid as pet food and fancy clothes.
Feline photos and this amusing story is here.
