(15 October 2015) In January 2016 a new, facilitated online training course – Negotiation Skills for Librarians – will be available to librarians, consortia staff and other information professionals.
Sarah Durrant has been delivering the 1-day in-person workshop, on which the online course is based, in Europe and the Middle East since 2008, frequently on behalf of UKSG. In that time, over 330 librarians, consortia staff and other information professionals have taken part.
The online version of this training has been developed in response to interest from colleagues in North America, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
A course, timed for colleagues in Australia, New Zealand and compatible time-zones, will begin on 20 January 2016. Places are limited.
