(19 September 2015) Reporting to the Head of Systems and Digital Services, the appointee will be responsible for developing and managing the University Archives and Special Collections; and initiating and coordinating digital scholarship projects.
The appointee will be responsible for appraising, acquiring, arranging and preserving Library’s special collections and University records of enduring value, and providing access to these materials; planning and developing departmental policies and practices; performing outreach and promotional work; organizing exhibitions and gallery talks; and training and supervising staff. He/She will also be launching digital scholarship services in collaboration with faculty and partners, and managing digital projects, including building new digital collections, creating metadata, and developing web services. The appointee will also serve on committees and task forces; and participate in library-wide projects and activities as needed.
