(27 April 2015) With the filmolux bookcover Neschen launches a new self-adhesive book protection film cut to size for paperbacks. The product reinforces and protects the book cover with a hard-PVC film and protects the book spine with a flexible soft-PVC film. The result is a robust cover which stabilizes the book and prevents bends – similar to a conventional hardcover.
The protective film is intended for use in libraries and schools that want to protect their collection of paperbacks. It is particularly suited for books on loan which are subject to constant wear and tear. If protected with filmolux bookcover, the shelf life of lent paperbacks will be significantly prolonged.
Filmolux bookcover is available in five cut sizes which cover the typical range of sizes from small size prints up to school textbooks of larger formats. The cuts are available for book spines with widths of 30 mm and 50 mm. The adhesive used is free of solvents, ageing resistant, acid-free and permanently elastic.
