(13 February 2015) The National Science Library of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (NSLC) has selected the Summon service to better support the patrons of Chinese Academy of Sciences with an integrated resource discovery platform. This integrated resource platform has been built in NSLC, which used the Summon service API model, and integrated with local resources effectively. NSLC is the first institution to implement Summon for an integrated platform in China.
“We hope Summon API can empower the development of the NSLC integrated resource discovery platform effectively, so that it can better reveal the resources and services of NSLC better, and moreover, allow the users of NSLC discover and access relevant information and resources easily,” said a spokesperson for The National Science Library of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
