(19 November 2014) The LIANZA Council has been considering making a bid to host the annual IFLA (International Federation of Library Associations) Congress. A poll of the membership found that of the 454 responses 85% favour bringing the event to New Zealand. Because of this level of support the LIANZA Council has decided to bid for the event in 2020.
