Theme: Repositioning Libraries in the Asia Pacific Region – Evolving Strategies, Innovative Services
(12 November 2014) The Conference, 15-21 August 2015 is in Cape Town, South Africa. In keeping with the conference’s overall theme, Dynamic Libraries: Access, Development and Transformation, the Asia and Oceania Open Session will focus on how libraries respond to opportunities for empowering citizens, enhancing learning, and adopting ICTs to name a few, and what this might mean for librarians in terms of their knowledge, skills and attitude.
Contributions are sought that illustrate the different ways in which libraries in Asia and Oceania are repositioning themselves to enhance their effectiveness and impact.
