2014年1月13日，中华人民共和国国务院总理李克强在北京会见了Science 《科学》杂志主编Marcia McNutt女士。在会见期间，双方谈及了一系列的科学技术问题，其中涉及太空探索，国际合作以及气候变化等。
李克强总理指出，中国面临的主要挑战之一是在保护自然环境、控制温室气体的同时为经济增长实现对资源的可持续性开发。李克强总理希望Science 《科学》杂志能够继续帮助推动中国科学与技术的进步，增强国际科学成果的交流。

13 January 2014, Premier Li Keqiang in Beijing, People’s Republic of China, met with Science magazine editor Ms. Marcia McNutt. During the meeting, the two sides talked about a series of scientific and technical issues including space exploration, international cooperation and climate change.
Premier Li Keqiang pointed out one of the major challenges that China facing is protection of the natural environment including the control of greenhouse gases to achieve sustainable development of resources for economic growth. Premier Li Keqiang hopes Science magazine will continue to help China promote the progress of science and technology to enhance the international exchange of scientific results.
