(24 February 2014) Myanmar recently hosted the ASEAN Library Development Forum 2014. In addition to a summary of the Forum the National Library of Myanmar has published a more detailed account of the proceedings which offers recommendations on Professional development towards digital environment; Preservation of library materials; Community-based library activities; Customer service & library marketing; Digital literacy for library professionals; and, Organizing cultural programs and programming for libraries: linking libraries, communities, and culture.
