The University Librarian provides strategic leadership and management of the University Library, supporting and enhancing the University’s mission and its strategic objectives in research, learning, discovery, and engagement within an increasingly digital environment. This role also provides the opportunity to oversee one of the largest collections in Australia with 7,160 cultural and heritage collections, over 200,000 journals and more than 2.5 million books.
In partnership with a team of passionate and collaborative Library Directors, the University Librarian works with senior leadership across the University to develop, promote, and provide access to scholarly collections and resources, information research skills development programs, physical and virtual learning spaces, and scholarly communication initiatives across multiple sites, meeting individual campus and faculty needs.
