Reporting to the Associate Director, Library and Study Skills, the Team Leader will oversee the Resource Services team, ensuring a high-quality, accessible library collection aligned with industry best practices. Your leadership will cultivate a collaborative and innovative culture, addressing training needs and driving continuous improvement. Responsibilities include evaluating resources within budget constraints, leading negotiations, and managing licenses. Facilitating partnerships with internal and external stakeholders is crucial for adapting services to evolving client needs. As a key member of the Library and Study Skills Leadership team, you will actively contribute to policy, planning, and strategic direction.
To be successful in this role, there is a requirement to have tertiary qualification in Library and Information Science or a related field providing eligibility for Associate membership of ALIA. You will have demonstrated leadership experience in library resource management and in-depth knowledge of intellectual property rights, copyright, and scholarly publishing as relevant to this context.
