The Southeast Asia Library Group, SEALG, in its blog reminds its members that at the upcoming IFLA World Library and Information Congress in Singapore there will be a full day session dedicated to Asian collections. Session 95 “Rare and special collections in the Asian or Oceanian context — Rare Books and Manuscrips with Asia and Oceania” will see a range of poster presentations and speeches concerned with the management, preservation and use of special collections. Many presentations will be related to collections of Southeast Asian materials. See the programme here.
