(23 Mar 2022) Seoul Book Repository, South Korea’s first public secondhand bookstore, will perform a variety of commemorative events to celebrate the third anniversary of its opening.
According to the Seoul Metropolitan Library, Seoul Book Repository has attracted about 430,000 visitors who bought a total of 333,000 books over the past three years, despite several long closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It was created by converting a logistics warehouse in Sincheon Reservoir into a multi-culture space as part of the city government’s urban renewal project.
