Library Specialist (Research Information)
The position will lead on the development, consolidation and administration of Flinders digital repositories with a remit to research and develop new and innovative services for the Library’s users. The position will contribute to promotion of services and systems to key stakeholders through advocacy concerning Library infrastructure for Open Research, Open Educational Resources and any other categories of materials that serve the needs of the Flinders’ community. The role has no direct reports.
Library Coordinator (Collection Strategy)
The position will oversee the acquisition, provisioning of and maintenance for scholarly resources, including budget support and advisory, licensing agreements, and contracts.
As a member of the Library’s management team, they will be expected to contribute to a ‘one Library’ ethos and support other members of the senior management in delivery of services across all teams.
Librarian (Information Management Strategy)
Under general to broad direction, the Librarian will provide skilled and experienced support within the Library to support the Research, Learning and Teaching activities of the University and the strategic goals of openness and equity in scholarly communication.
The Librarian will work in the Information Management Strategy Team and provide support for the management of Pure/ResearchNow (the digital repository of Flinders University Research). They will contribute to ensuring data integrity to meet international standards and Government legislative requirements e.g., ERA. The Librarian will provide expert advice and contribute to the workflows of the overall development of Research support within the Library.
Librarian – CGTR Knowledge Resources
The Librarian CGTR Knowledge Resources will work in the Knowledge and Information Hub (KIH) within the Aged Care Centre for Growth and Translational Research (CGTR), College of Nursing and Health Sciences under the direction and mentoring of the Director Knowledge and Implementation Hub (or delegate).
