(12 Sept 2019) Between July and August of this year, Iranian state-backed hacking group Cobalt Dickens (aka Silent Librarian) targeted over 60 universities across four continents as part of a phishing campaign designed to obtain unauthorized access to university libraries.

The campaign relied on at least 20 newly registered domains and targeted universities in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Switzerland, the UK and the US.
