(30 January 2019) The University Grants Committee (UGC), Hong Kong, held a workshop on research impact on 14th January at City University of Hong Kong. Overview of impact submission requirements for Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) 2020 was explained with invited speakers included academics from UK sharing their experience on preparing REF impact case studies in their country.
The particular issue on impact submission has attracted lots of attention since this is the first time research impact is included in Hong Kong’s RAE. Over 400 attendees joined the workshop in addition to audiences from live streaming.
