(8 November 2018) ReMarkable just unveiled a brand new system that converts handwritten text into standardized typed text. The new writing engine just works in the notes app, not PDF files or ebooks. For the best results, before you go about converting your text, you should specify which language your notes are written in through the Settings page. The writing slate currently support over 30 languages including different types of English, Slovak, and Icelandic to name a few.
