(30 January 2018) In line with Proclamation No. 563, “Designating March 9 of every year as Public Library Day”, the National Library of the Philippines, as the central node of public libraries in the country, will spearhead in celebrating the 59th Public Library Day on March 9, 2018 with the theme: Limang K para maging Ok sa aKlatan (Kultura, Kalusugan, Kabuhayan, Karunugan, Kalikasan.
Relative to this, all affiliated public libraries with NLP are enjoined to hold activities in their localities relevant to this occasion as a public library drive.
