(9 November 2016) The Library Director is a senior strategic position. They will provide leadership in delivering a contemporary Library service in a brand new purpose-build space; contributing significantly to successful outcomes in teaching, learning and research. The position reports to an executive team member, and will deliver high-level academic and operational strategic imperatives.
The Library comprises of two service groups: Customer Services which includes Knowledge Specialists, and Resources which includes Acquisitions, Cataloguing, Systems and Research Bank. The Library and Learning Commons Director leads a team of 32 staff across three locations with a salary budget of $5 million. Reporting to this position are two senior staff, who are responsible for library services to Networks and Pathways, and each of whom has senior management line authority and accountability. The Library Director and two Managers form the Library Leadership Team. Closing date 28/11/16.
