(6 March 2014) The 6th International Integrity and Plagiarism Conference builds upon the conference’s reputation as a forum for best practice by bringing together global expertise and experience. This year it takes place at Gateshead, UK, 16-18 June.
Within the conference on 16 June is a one day event, ‘Starting Out – Best Practices for Implementing a Plagiarism Policy’. Aimed at non-UK institutions which are beginning to develop an approach to academic integrity, speakers from across the globe will share their experience. They include Dr Loc Pham Quoc from Hoa Sen University, Vietnam. He will focus on his experience of implementing anti-plagiarism policies at Hoa Sen University particularly the issues of awareness, curriculum design, assessment methods, corporate relations, and advocacy activities related to anti-plagiarism work.
