Locals in east China get new libraries from old buildings

(15 August 2018) The local government in Deqing County, east China’s Zhejiang province, has recently transformed several empty old buildings into village libraries. The centers are equipped with large collections and host a diverse range of activities, strongly fuelling cultural development in rural areas, according to a spokesperson.
