Singapore libraries use technology for easier, faster service

(28 August 2015, Singapore) Libraries are making use of technology to ensure users can get the books and materials they want in an easier and faster manner. Singapore’s Communications and Information Minister Yaacob Ibrahim saw some of these improvements during a visit to Sembawang Public Library on Friday 2 August 2015. They include a book sorter, a mobile app to borrow and renew books and a reservation locker.
