ALIA report flags future trends for the Australian library and information sector

(21 May 2014, Canberra)  The impact of unimaginable technologies, a global market for education and radical transformation in the corporate world are three of the themes emerging from a new series of reports published today by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA), as an investigation into the future of the library and information sector.

National treasures direct to your device, community-created content, and a library card for every child at birth are just a few of the possibilities described in the reports, which are based on a year-long consultation involving leaders in the field and a broad range of contributors.
